Hannah is focused on using her studies for good. As an Honours Arts Psychology major with a minor in Philosophy, she'southward applying lessons from the classroom to the real world through volunteer and research opportunities, giving her peers the tools they need to do self-care and pity.

Explore the frontiers of the mind. Examine human behaviour from a diversity of perspectives, including neuroscience, cognition, clinical, developmental, industrial/organizational, and social psychology.
And then deepen your understanding with complementary courses in other subject areas, such as legal studies, sociology, biology, and health studies.

Starting time-year courses
During your start twelvemonth, yous'll take two introductory Psychology courses. Plus, yous'll have electives to explore an additional major of your choosing. In upper years, 40% of the classes you'll take will be Psychology courses.

Customize your degree
The optional Research Intensive specialization provides in-depth preparation in experimental pattern. You'll learn to address bug of human motivation, memory, social relations, communication, and many other human capacities past translating them into solvable issues.
You can also include one or more than of the minors available to all Waterloo students. Pop choices for Psychology majors include Human Resources Direction; Cognitive Science; Legal Studies; Economics; and Sexuality, Marriage, and Family unit Studies.

Admissions
Ontario students: six Class 12 U and/or M courses including
- Any Grade 12 U English (minimum final grade of at least lxx%)
Mathematics of Data Direction is recommended.
Admission average: Low 80s (co-op and regular)
